Join A Peer Table

Are you tired of suffering from “Entrepreneurial loneliness: by handling all the business decisions of your design business on your own?

When you join a Peer table, you will have a “sounding board” for some of your business challenges and concerns, such as:

  • When and how you should raise your rates and design fees
  • When you should hire more staff
  • Being sure your contracts cover you in case of a client dispute
  • Making the most of your marketing dollar

If any of these topics have ever been a concern of yours, a Peer Table may be just the thing to help you.  Come to our meetings to see how (posted on the events calendar and in the newsletter the Angle.

Designers – if you have never been on a Peer Table, it is difficult to truly understand the benefits and advantages that come from communicating with and sharing business ideas and experiences with others in your design profession.  A Peer Group is composed of approximately 7 – 8 members, comprised of five or six designers and two industry partners.  Each Peer Group is independent and the meetings are set up and manged by the members of the group.  If you are serious about your design business, you owe it to yourself to give the Peer tables a try.  Now that you know the potential returns and benefits, ask yourself can you afford not to avail yourself of this opportunity?

Peer Table formation meetings will be held at the ASID Chapter office we will post these dates on the calendar and send out via constant contact the dates and times.  We try to schedule the meetings around noon with a lite bite to eat to make it easy to attend.

There is a onetime charge of $50 to each member at the time a Peer Table if formed.  As a member of a Peer Table you will receive a copy of an excellent book on marketing design services that you will find very helpful in your business.

If you would like to know more about the Peer Table concept, feel free to contact Cheryl Donaho, FASID at 713 972-9710 or cheryl-donaho@comcast.net.
