Melanie Morrison, ASID, RID is the president of Morrison Interiors, Inc., a design studio she founded in 2002. Prior to graduating with an Art Degree in 1996, Melanie spent over a year working with a local preeminent interior designer. She moved on after graduation to a designer position at Kathy Andrews Interiors, a nationally recognized model-merchandising firm, quickly moving up to become a Senior Project Manager. At KAI, Melanie oversaw several dozen nationwide projects for various national homebuilders and traveled frequently all over the United States installing her designs. Several of her projects received awards for excellence in model merchandising. While at KAI, Melanie sat for the prestigious NCIDQ exam and passed, becoming a licensed Interior Designer in the state of Texas (License # 10060). She is a professional member of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) as well as the Texas Association of Interior Designers (TAID).
