Designer Profile

A passion for blending beauty with function led Carla in to the field of interior design. She has worked on many residential, corporate, and hospitality projects through the years. After spending nine years in the Dallas area employed in architectural and design firms, she chose to stay home with her children for awhile and had the opportunity to live overseas, in Australia and Norway. She has traveled extensively, observing different cultures, architecture, and styles of living, which served to broaden her perspective on design.

Upon settling in The Woodlands in 2000 with her family, she has been working on all types of design projects that include kitchen and bath remodels, new custom home specifications, small commercial spaces, and all types of home furnishings. Carla’s primary goal is to create a beautiful, timeless environment that reflects the personality and style of her client and most effectively satisfies their functional needs.

2011 Showhouse Bathroom for Teenage Girl

Textural window treatments highlight a beautiful view.

A vintage kitchen in a 100 year old home with modern touches make for a clean, crisp update.

This corner fireplace was highlighted with floor to ceiling tumbled travertine and properly lit to accent the unique corner feature.

A European style look was desired for this kitchen remodel. Existing cabinets were reused with new, traditional details, finish materials, and lighting to help create the warm, inviting ambience.

A total master bath renovation with a clean, tradtitional look.

A master bath and closet were totally gutted to allow for complete wheelchair access under the sinks, in the shower, and at the toilet. A masculine, spa-like ambience was created so that the accessibility issue was invisible. This project won a national award in 2010 from the NAHB Remodelers.

A modern, updated look was desired for this kitchen renovation, while still relating to the traditional style in the rest of the home.

A kitchen remodel with a light, fresh look and a touch of French country style.

A Tuscan look was created in this kitchen remodel with a new island, lighting, pantry doors, slate floor, and a rich, olive paint color on existing cabinets.

A light, traditional, spa-like feel was created in this total master bath remodel.
