Louise Girard is an award-winning, internationally published interior designer who specializes in designing residential, commercial and restaurant projects in metropolitan Houston. Louise, who has worked as a designer and residential/hospitality contractor for 20 years, renovates, remodels and furnishes Houston homes and executive offices. Girard received her Bachelor of Arts Degree from Rice University, graduating with honors. She earned a graduate degree in interior design at The Art Institute of Houston, graduating with high honors and being named to the Institute's Hall of Fame.
Services Offered
Girard Interior Design is a full service design firm that manages projects from concept to creation. Licensed by the State of Texas, Louise designs executive offices, restaurants, corporate headquarters and ranches, as well as homes throughout the greater Houston area. Louise manages projects from concept to creation, and her services range from space planning, lighting specifications and color consultation, to the design of custom cabinetry and the selections of finishes, furnishings, artwork and accessories. Louise listens to her clients about their needs and is ever mindful of their particular style, budget and time frame.
Awards & Publications
Louise has won a Houston Chronicle/ASID design award for a Texas Style restaurant and was published internationally in fine interiors publications in Europe in "Ville e Casali" & "Mia Casa" for her design of a country living estate. Girard projects have been included in home tours sponsored by the Rice Design Alliance of Houston and the Bellaire Tour of Homes.
