Open and honest communication is imperative in the relationship of the Client and Designer. When the Designer truly listens and understands the Client's needs and expectations,only then can a successful project begin. Having earned an Associates of Arts degree from Tyler Jr. College in 1974,and a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Interior Design from the University of Houston in 1976,I have successfully completed numerous full service projects in residential,commercial and healthcare design over the past 30 years. Internationally,projects have been successfully installed in Dubai and Mumbai. As a Registered Interior Designer with the Texas Board of Architectural Examiners since 1993,it is a joy to continue studying the ever changing,always challanging industry of Interior Design. As a professional member of the American Institute of Floral Designers,it is a privilege to provide floral decor for many of my client's family and corporate events. I especially enjoy designing extraordinary Christmas decor for both residential and commercial installations,as well as permanent botanical designs that capture the spirit of the interior space. Membership in the Society of American Florists with my certification of Professional Floral Communicators-International,has provided me opportunities to serve on floral design teams for several nationally recognized events. I enjoy presenting educational programs to both garden clubs and professional florists. The Texas State Florists Association has certified me as a Texas Master Florist. Design is my Passion.
