I am a licensed designer and owner and founder of By Design Interiors, Inc. I have had the privilege of practicing interior design since 1984 and have dedicated my career to making BDI a premier full-service Interior Design Firm of Houston.
My design philosophy is one that seeks to expand and stretch my clients' comfort level. People tend to select the familiar, what they are exposed to repeatedly by the media and retail stores. I think a design project should take a client on a journey full of adventures and discoveries, collecting treasures along the way.
I am an active member of ASID, as well as the Greater Houston Builders Association (GHBA) including the Remodelors Council and Custom Builders Council and enjoy working successfully with home owners, architects, builders and remodelors, to create uniquely beautiful spaces.

Awards & Publications
2010 - Peggy won the GHBA "Houston's Best" award for her beautiful design in a formal living room located in Cypress, as well as a Master Bathroom Remodel in the Montrose area. Her firm, By Design Interiors, also received three awards for a home in the Champion Forest area.
2010 - Peggy was the Featured Designer in the Fall issue of Texas Home & Living Magazine.
2010 - Peggy had a bathroom remodel, as well as, a bedroom design featured in Texas Home & Living Magazine.
2009 - A collaborated design with designer, Cindy Aplanalp was featured in the Sept/Oct edition of Texas Home and Living.
Peggy has also had projects and articles featured in Houston Design Resource Magazine and the Houston Chronicle.
By Design Interiors, Inc. was winner of 2009 GHBA Houston's Best Award for "Best Remodeled Bath under $50,000.
