Designer Profile

Lauren Simmons, a native Houstonian, received her B.S. in Interior Design from Abilene Christian University in 2007. Since, she has gained a breadth of professional interior design experience, utilizing a multitude of styles and genres. A recent completion of the NCIDQ Examination and an active membership in ASID proves Lauren’s commitment to the integrity of the Interior Design profession.

Studio L was born from Lauren’s recognition of the obvious disconnect between professional design services and the “everyday” consumer. Beautiful, professional interiors seemed out-of-reach for the average person, due to outrageous design fees and the exclusivity that is prominent in the business. Studio L is committed to the goal of providing clientele, at every project budget level, with stunning interiors and objects of interest.

Lauren’s innate eye for design does not limit itself with interiors - her love of fashion, DIY projects, architecture, travel, and music all contribute to Studio L’s ability to customize every project to the uniqueness of every client.
